Why Install a Map on Your GMod Server?
When first joining a GMod server, you are spawned into the default map Flatgrass. As this world is default and pretty bland, you may want to add your own custom map to your GMod server. This can be done pretty easily whether you are grabbing a map that you found online or if you have created your own map. In this guide, we will be teaching you how you can add a custom map on your GMod server.
How to Upload a Map
Login to your FTP
Go in to āGarryās Modā > āmapsā
Upload your files to the āmapsā folder.
How to change the map on the server
Login to your Control panel
Go in to āConfigurationā > āStartup Parametersā
Change the current map āgm_flatgrassā to your map name.
